 “A New Sound” An afternoon of song featuring The Polk State College Concert Chorale and Vocal Jazz Ensemble,  Prof. John L. Anderson Jr., Conductor, and Polk State College Women’s Chorus  Prof. Michelle Manzi, Conductor.
The College Chorale at Polk State Colleg together with conductor Prof. John Anderson, enjoy exploring a very broad range of choral literature. This concert will feature works from classics for choir by Scarlatti and Racmananoff as well as modern classics such as the works of Renee Clausen and Eric Whitaker.
The Polk State College Vocal Jazz Ensemble is selected from members of the Polk State Chorale.  This ensemble specializes in acappella vocal jazz arrangements. In addition to their college schedule, this ensemble is well known through their frequent appearances throughout Polk County and beyond.
Polk State College's vocal ensemble specializing in women's literature, the Polk State College Women's Chorus under the direction of Professor Michelle Manzi  has quickly established a reputation of performing both Classical and Contemporary Music with style and beauty.

Tickets: $15 and can be purchased at the Lake Wales Arts Center or by phone at (863) 676-8426, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
